Not your typical travel agency

I don’t sell packages or checklists.

About Bruma Travel

Thanks for stopping by! My name's J.P. Giraldo. I’ve been traveling extensively since 2012, including time living in places like Africa and the Middle East. I've been helping others plan their travels since then.I’m not interested in counting countries. That kind of capital-city-only travel often becomes rushed and surface-level — and it’s not something I design or want to encourage. What I care about is connection. I focus on helping you experience a place more deeply — through journeys shaped by local knowledge, trusted partners, and time spent in the right places.Bruma means fog. It’s something I associate with the mountain landscapes I’m drawn to — the coffee region in Colombia where I’m from, the Ethiopian highlands, the Himalayas, or early mornings in Antarctica. That fog isn’t something to avoid — it’s part of the experience. But as you spend more time in a place, things begin to reveal themselves. The trips I design are about that process — helping you move beyond the surface and into something more meaningful.
